So Hot… DOWNSYDE Over the last few months there has been a creative avalanche at Downsyde central with Optamus, Dazastah, Dynamikes, Salvatore, Cheeky and Armee working overtime to put together an epic new release. Featuring up to 15 tracks ranging from hard hitting streetwise hip hop to stoner party tracks and downbeat monsters, the new album will be a step forward from ‘Land Of The Giants’, their last release. As ever, the lyrical ability is supreme across the frontline MC's Optamus, Dazastah and Dyna-mikes with a crate full of blips, scratches, samples and percussion brought to the party by Cheeky, Salvatore and DJ Armee. Thematically, it's a bit of everything…political, peace, party, cars, hip hop culture, the rat race, the works.
To celebrate what is looking like being a very exciting year ahead, Downsyde have release two of their new singles 'Bring It All Back' ( super funky slab with rolling grooves, smooth rhymes and the coolest drum roll in the world) and 'Street Machines' (an epic ruff and tumble track about boot-rattling stereos and fast cars. It's a live favourite and sounds massive with the big string section) for free download only from www.downsyde.com.au
Tour Dates: 13th Oct PERTH @ Robinson Pavillion with Black Eyed Peas 29th Oct CANBERRA @ Street Festival 30th Oct SYDNEY @ TBC

WANKER ALERT To the purple BMW 318i with SA rego no. VXG 521 (not wanting to point the finger or anything) who nearly smashed my car trying to be a hero on Dandenong Road at the start of this week - GO BACK TO ADELAIDE! What a tool! As if Monday morning aren’t hard enough to deal with, last thing I need was some tool who doesn’t know how to check before changing lanes. I was already there buddy!
MEDICARE REIMBURSEMENTS To reimburse before or after that is the question! And why is it only open when people are working? I don’t understand when I’m suppose to have time to fill out all the paperwork. Bring back bulk billing!
EARRING BACKINGS Why do you always only lose one and why do they cost $5 to replace?
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE Did anybody else know that Philippine Airlines baggage capacity is 40kgs! That’s just an excuse for my mum to ask for more stuff to bring back! What a FOB! My other luggage is a balikbayan box!
16 MORE AGONISING DAYS TIL MY HOLIDAY Are we there yet?
So What…
What’s happening now?
The human brain truly is a mystery.
While sitting at your desk make clockwise circles with your right foot.
While doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand.
How funny! Try doing this not sober!
