ROBOTS SOUNDTRACK ALBUM
Virgin Music announces the April 10 release of the Robots film soundtrack. Robots is a major new animated film created by the Academy Award-winning director that brought the Oscar-nominated Ice Age to the screen. The film opened nationally on March 24, and was released by 20th Century Fox in both IMAX and standard versions. Robots features the voices of stars Ewan McGregor, Halle Berry, Robin Williams, Mel Brooks, Greg Kinnear, Drew Carey and Jamie Kennedy. The soundtrack features an exciting new song from R&B supergroup Earth, Wind & Fire, called "Love's Dance",a collaboration with superstar producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, from a forthcoming new EWF album. Also contributing original tracks for the soundtrack are Virgin soul star Ricky Fanté, with "Shine", and Fountains of Wayne with "Tell Me What You Already Did." Film score composer John Powell is joined by theatrical innovators Blue Man Group for "Robot City."

Several recent hit tunes in the soundtrack will be familiar: "Right Thurr," the hip-hop smash by Chingy; the top 20 single "I Like That" by Houston, featuring Chingy and Nate Dogg; and the recent single by Virgin artist Stacie Orrico, "(There's Gotta Be) More to Life." New Zealand pop-punkers Steriogram also highlight the soundtrack with the manic "Walkie Talkie Man", nominated for Breakthrough Video in last fall's MTV Video Music Awards, alongside Fatboy Slim's "Wonderful Night", the latest single from his album Palookaville, featuring a rap by Lateef the Truth Speaker. Mercury Music Prize winners Gomez, currently touring the U.S., contribute the song "Silence".

Pop music's legends are also represented in the track list, with War's west coast Latin-funk classic "Low Rider", while James Brown's late-Seventies "Get Up Offa That Thing" appears in a new club remix.

FINN BROTHERS EUROPEAN TOUR POSTPONED
Following the tragic events of the past two weeks Neil Finn has been diagnosed as suffering from mental exhaustion and stress and is taking an immediate four week break from touring on doctor's advice. All remaining dates of the European tour have been postponed and will be rescheduled with new dates to be announced in the next few days. Ticket holders should retain their tickets until the new dates are announced. Please check www.finnbros.com regularly for further updates.

JAPANESE PUNK ROCKERS LIMITED EXPRESS (HAS GONE?) JOIN THE ROGERS SISTERS ON THEIR AUSTRALIAN TOUR THIS MAY
Returning to Australia for the second time, Limited Express (Has Gone?) have announced they will join The Rogers Sisters (US) and Love of Diagrams (Melb) for their May tour. After selling out their intensive Australian/New Zealand tour in November 2004, this avant-garde/rock trio will be welcomed with open arms and complete the triple bill of the year! Limited Express members Jinichiro Iida (Guitar &Vocals), Yukari (Bass & Voice) and Narazaki Koji (Drums) are descendents of fellow countrymen The Boredoms and Melt Banana. Although they are based in Kyoto, a city famous for producing new electronic music, Limited Express (Has Gone?) derive their sound from traditional Rock 'n Roll. With a simple set up of bass, guitar, drums and voices, the band produce exploding, oldly timed grooves, strange harmonies and weird fuzzed-out jazz/prog passages, with an exciting and original take on the Rock sound.

After being approached by John Zorn, who loved the band's demo, their first album was released on the New York based Tzadik label. The album ‘Feeds You’ was released in March 2003 to international acclaim. In Japan critics declared it one of the best albums of the year and there followed a successful tour of nine cities there, culminating in a performance at Fuji Rock Festival alongside Bjork, Yo La Tengo, Elvis Costello and Iggy Pop. Limited Express return this year with a second album ‘Makes You Dance’ (Memory Lab) and another trip to Australia for four shows only. See below for tour dates and venues. http://www.limited-ex.com/

Tour Dates:
Saturday 14 May - Northcote Social Club, MELBOURNE
Wednesday 18 May- The Grace Emily Hotel, ADELAIDE
Thursday 19 May - The Annandale Hotel, SYDNEY
Saturday 21 May - The Rev, BRISBANE

So Not…
PHLEGM

(Is that how you spell it?) My nose is red and raw and my chest hurts from dry retching mucus. Somebody save me!

NO TASTE BUDS
From not being able to breathe…lovely!

FAT FREE FOOD
Totally tasteless and so not doable even when you have no tastebuds! I’d rather swallow phlegm!

BLOATEDNESS
But then you’re faced with bloating and indigestion if you eat anything remotely yummy with lactose and gluten laced ingredients that’s got a high GI and added sugar so what’s the point?! So over food!

TO CUT OR NOT DILEMNA
Is it just me or do you notice that whenever you have a sporadic day off and you think you should cut your tresses off, you have a fantastic hair day? Then when you are flat chat the whole week you wish you could wear a trucker to work? What is up with that?

So What…

What the?

You know you're living in 2005 when.....

1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.

2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.

3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.

4. You e-mail your friend who works at the desk next to you.

5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends is that they do not have e-mail addresses.

6. When you go home after a long day at work you still answer the phone in a business manner.

7. When you make phone calls from home, you accidentally dial "9" to get an outside line.

8. You've sat at the same desk for four years and worked for three different companies.

10. You learn you've been laid off on the 11 o'clock news.

11. Your boss doesn't have the ability to do your job.

12. Contractors outnumber permanent staff and are more likely to get long-service awards.

13. You read this entire list, and kept nodding and smiling.

14. As you read this list, you think about forwarding this page to your “friends".

15. You got this link from a friend that never talks to you any more except to send you jokes from the net.

16. You are too busy to notice there was no No. 9.

17. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a No.9.
