This latest tune is a massive mash up between the two Trans Atlantic heavyweights of the house scene: Solitaire & Static Revenger from London & L.A to Australia. Solitaire (London) aka Lewis Dene has become Australia's adopted son almost. Having played everywhere from Centro-Fly - New York, Miss Moneypenny's, Ministry Of Sound & parties for cool labels like: Nervous & Subliminal, he also manages to fit in (between a hectic DJ schedule) writing for DJ Mag, Update, Record Collector and Blues & Soul Magazine alongside the BBC's website & also has time to concoct the latest dancefloor bombs. This is his second tour to Oz & the build up is very exciting indeed! Static Revenger (L.A) has established himself quite nicely after scoring a U.S, UK & European Top 10 with the track: 'Happy People' a few years back in 2001, whilst scoring a #1 Billboard Club hit as well. Dennis White aka Static Revenger was 'Musical Director' of Kevin Saunderson's ground breaking funk band 'Inner City', who's smash hits: 'Good Life' and 'Big Fun' are rocking underground clubs and airwaves from E Street to the East End. He's yet to experience Australia & is set to set the dance floors alight in March.

IN THE MIX WITH TIËSTO AT MADAME TUSSAUDS AMSTERDAM.
AMSTERDAM, February 10th, 2005 - Today, the first step has been taken in order to create an interactive Tiësto experience at Madame Tussauds. Tiësto posed extensively for photographers and sculptors from Tussauds in an Amsterdam hotel. The sculpture of the world's best DJ will be situated behind a turntable where Madame Tussaud’s visitors can mix Tiësto's music together with the man himself. The date of the launch of this interactive experience will be announced soon.

AUSSIE FRIGGIN HIP HOP
It’s time Aussie Hip Hop got the recognition it deserves. Channel [V] presents the Aussie Friggin Hip Hop Search for the Best Aussie MC. We’re hitting the ground with a national search that will shine the spotlight on Australia’s untapped Hip Hop talent. Aspiring rappers will have the chance to battle it out for the title of Best Aussie MC, along with a chance to record a single with world famous hip hop producer KutMasta Kurt and a video produced by Channel [V]. Entrants will be judged on style, flow and freestyle ability. So if you think you’ve got what it takes, it’s time to let Australia know and make it your mission to audition now. The final will be broadcast live on air in April and the winner will be flown to Los Angeles to record a single with US beat maker KutMasta Kurt, which will be digitally released in May 2005. The winner will also receive a professional video clip produced by Channel [V].

As well as the MC Search, the Detour shows will boast some of Australia’s and New Zealand’s best Hip Hop acts including SCRIBE, P MONEY, RESIN DOGS, KOOLISM and FASTCREW. In addition the Billabong vert ramp - built to World Cup specifications - will host an all-star skate line-up from Australia and around the world. In addition to the Aussie Friggin Hop Hop heats happening in conjunction with Detour, Channel [V] will broadcast a 12 part series called ‘Aussie Friggin Hip Hop – Busted’ from March 28 – April 14 (Mon- Thu 11.30am, 5pm, 9.30pm) . The Aussie Friggin Hip Hop final will be broadcast live to air on April 15th 4pm – 7pm.

The queen of vocal trance returns with a new dance floor screamer in 'Inspiration'. Despite of what everybody thinks, Ian van Dahl is not a real person, but a project name. The face and vocalist of the act is Annemie Coenen, who co-writes most of the Ian van Dahl songs. On stage she's backed up by two great dancers from the Belgium dance school 'The Move'. The producers behind Ian Van Dahl are Christophe Chantzis and Erik Vanspauwen who, together with Annemie, created the first album, alongside Peter Luts and David Vervoort, who are known for their work with Lasgo. Having earned respect all over the world with various club and commercial projects and remixes IAN VAN DAHL have steadily increased their following here in Australia & 'INSPIRATION' is just a taste of what's to come from the forthcoming album 'LOST & FOUND.'
